Ida Frømyr Borgen (1988) is a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Oslo, Norway. She has a technical base in contemporary dance and improvisation, and her work is often site specific, collective and interdisciplinary. Borgen is currently a member of the dance collectives Ompaniet and Kunstgress, as well as the creative collective KOSO.

With the pre-project Plantropologi, the duo Borgen/Bach explore parallels between human behaviour and plant behaviour, in search of narratives that can arise by translating the movement language of plants into the human body. Do blueberry bushes have social behaviour and what can root networks tell us about political structures?
